That's not far from my choice for first 11. But who is playing on the right? Doyle? Eastwood?

He looks quality on the ball... but reading the comments at the bottom sounds like he is lacking with his end product.
But looks exiting and personally i think this is the sort of player we have been lacking.

Looks a good player very skillful on the ball but isn't it a bit late for a trialist can only impress in training and hopefully today

Interesting play. He looks great going forward and is capable of putting a good ball into the box. But he seems to struggle to get on to the ball and into the game. As soon a Carsley started trying to put him on the ball he looked much better. He may well be worth a punt.

Disagree totally with jimmy. He didn't struggle for any of his game. He could win the ball and passed it well. I was very impressed.
Is he strong?

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying he's a bad player. I think he could be quite good but he's more than a bit rough round the edges. He needs to involve himself at times more. That said he was blowing quite heavily which makes me wonder if some of what I saw was down to stamina. If so that's something we can fix.

He was most definatly not match fit and to me he seemed tired after only 10 minutes. However his height could be a huge advantage against samller full backs and has a decent pace for slower full backs. He would be a decent assest based on what I saw today.

The lad from Southend has not been paid, so AB was possibly alerted to his availability. If he hasn't taken part in the pre -season
at Southend,no wonder he was blowing through his A... but he was like a breath of fresh air, to us doubting city fans.
He wanted the ball, layed it off...now get this one...to a CITY player...and took people on . 1000% better than Mcindoe and at possibly a fraction of the cost ? After seeing all the new recruits and one in particular I believe shouldn't be here , + the imminent arrival of big Marlon, we have a good variation this season. The man u kids apparentley , will not be allowed to come until January, but there is a spurs player being asked about ?
