Will Portsmouth go into liquidation before we play them?

If Portsmouth lose their case against HMRC then they won't be able to exit administration through a CVA. Which means they will have to try and find a buyer for Portsmouth who is willing to take on huge debts and they will then get a further points deduction. In addition I don't think they will even be allowed to sign anyone.

So I kind of wonder if the Administrator will decide to cut the creditors losses and wind the club up. What do you think?

Don't quote me on this but i think i saw somewhere that Portsmouth were given special dispensation to sign 3 players (all on a free transfer i believe, 1 must be a GK) so i would imagine they may JUST be able to manage the game against us.

Id be gutted if it didn't get played, but personally i think they'll just about manage.

Unless they sign a goalkeeper between now and our game, they will either have to field one of their players in goal or one of their academy goalkeepers!
