David James Signs For Bristol City!!!!

Englands No.1 keeper at the World Cup several weeks ago has signed for Bristol City.

Maybe the rumours that we considered him were not so far wide of the mark.

Nice to see he moved for familly reasons despite interest from Premiership clubs and I can't see Bristol City breaking any banks for a 40 year old keeper.

Possibly the most unexpected move of the transfer window.

Part of me would've quite liked to see him at the Ricoh - he has definitely improved with age and got his head together in the last 4 years. Pretty solid and could help improve a young back four with his defensive organisation experience.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had other fans saying "I didn't see that coming" when see sign somebody. I know they possibly already do but for different reasons.

WE are too far away from Portsmouth and his family and we'd be be better going for a much younger 'up & coming' keeper anyway.

Two main culprits of the reason why so many people don''t bother with this forum any more post their drivel once again.

Why did I post it? Because COVENTRY enquired about signing him and he has signed for another team IN OUR DIVISION that we therefore play twice.

Also it is more interesting than the junk comments that you two only seem capable of making.

187 other people read the posting maybe because they hadn't heard, some people responded witouth being critical but the same two ignorants once again put THEIR unique stamp on the forum that they ruin for anybody else.

Anybody else begun to notice how this forum is largely made up of 10 people who all know each other?
