Martin Fulop !!!!

In light of recent events ie Westwood not signing new contract or being in new team photo. This guy should be our no1 target. On tuesday a deal was about to be done with Ipswich hopefully this has fallen through and we still have an opportunity.

A good goal keeper, doesn't change clubs as often as Martin Fulop, in my opinion he is nowhwre near a good goalkeeper, he is indesicive and a flapper ,choosing more often than not to punch at the ball rather than catch it, this flaw in his technique was highlighted on a match on Sky Sports last season, where the commentators were amazed at just how poor his overall performance between the sticks was.
If we lose westwood, we all know he will be a hard act to follow, Martin Fulop in any shape or form doesn't fit the bill.
of cause he has his followers, and some will disagree with my opinion I suppose, but compared to Westwood, whose handling is amongst the best I've ever seen, he isnt on the same planet.

Respectfully.........Tankie..

I agree he is a flapper and have also heard this discussed on skysports, and as for Westwood i believe it is more of when rather than if he leaves. I would rather us sign another young keeper who show has promise rather than a keeper who has been passed around the footballing scene more than Danielle lloyd.
Ben Alnwick from Spurs is perhaps a possibility, he signed in 2007 so perhaps is coming to the end of his contract, also they have two recognised keepers in Gomes and Cudicini. So if we sold Westwood perhaps a reasonable offer for this kid may be accepted.

Probably the contract terms. Too much money for uncle Ray.

Plenty of other good young promising and up and coming 'Keepers' available!

Fulop would be a 4th or 5th choice for me.
